Steve has a wide range of experience as an electrical and instrumentation technician working in various industries including power generation, water treatment, meat processing and defence spanning over 27 years.

He had a 13-year career with the Royal Australian Navy as a Weapons Technician operating and maintaining several types of weapons systems and submarine combat systems.

​Steve has worked as part of both small and large teams managing maintenance and operations of electrical systems, project management, document development and safety systems. He has experience working with Allen Bradley, Omron and Siemens equipment utilising applications such as RS Logix, Sysmac Studio, Step 5 & 7 software.

Steve has a good understanding of Siemens legacy systems including SIMADYN and TXP for the Power Generation industry. He has a great skill set for fault finding electrical and control systems over various processes including steam, coal-seam gas, hydraulics, De-salination, HV switchgear and HV transmission.

​Steve has a passion for project management and energy efficiency and will strive to provide the best possible service and outcomes keeping the client’s needs foremost. Steve makes up part of the SierraTek team in the Toowoomba office servicing the regions Industry and Agri-businesses.
